Did you know some newborn studios do not allow parents in the room during portraits? This is an important question to ask before booking a session. I have no doubt that studios with this requirement are safe and your baby is in good hands, however if you are unaware of this it may take you by surprise when you arrive for your portraits. If you are not emotionally prepared to be separated from your newborn during portraits it could cause for a very stressful experience.

Sarah Kane Photography's studio is an open floor plan allowing parents to be comfortably seated just a few feet away from their baby during the entire session. Parents are free to relax and enjoy complimentary coffee, cold drinks and snacks while they watch Sarah pose and photograph their baby.

The first few weeks you are home with your newborn can be overwhelming and stressful. Newborn portraits should not add to that stress. The more you know about your newborn photographer the more relaxed you will be during your session!
