The retainer fee off $100 is non-refundable. If client is unable to attend the session for any reason (including illness or scheduling conflicts) a refund will not be given. Client may reschedule and use the retainer fee toward a year round mini session.

All parties being photographed are required to be on time and at the designated meeting place at their scheduled time.  Due to the nature of minis and back to back scheduled sessions extended time will NOT be given for any reason. It is strongly recommended that all parties arrive at the designated meeting location 10-15 minutes early (please consider parking and time it takes to walk to the meeting location). 

Locations are subject to change with advanced notice and will be within a 25 miles radius of the Richmond area.

Due to the unpredictable nature of photography and children Sarah Kane Photography LLC does not guarantee specific or requested images.

Upon delivery of the digital images, I understand that I will be entirely responsible for the originals and all copies of their files, documents, digital images, photographs, albums or other products and Sarah Kane Photography LLC shall not be required, in any event, to reproduce or replace any such files, documents, digital images, photographs, or other products that are lost, stolen or destroyed. I understand that is recommended that I make a backup copy every 6 months.

Clients will choose final images for editing from a series of unedited proofs selected by Sarah Kane Photography LLC. Client will only have  access to download final edited images. Proofs will not be available to download. 

Proofs and final images will be delivered via an online gallery which will expire 6 months from the date in which it was emailed. Final selection must be made within 2 weeks of the galleries expiration date.  Images must be downloaded before the expiration date. Once a gallery expires there will be a fee of $50 for reinstatement which will extend the gallery for one (1) additional year. 

All final images include editing for color, exposure, skin smoothing, minor blemish removal,  teeth whitening, hair clean up, minor object removal if necessary and other minor edits that Sarah Kane Photography LLC sees fit. Edits outside of these typical edits will be subject to additional fees. Some examples of edits (but not limited to) not included are wrinkled clothing, clothing malfunctions, dirty clothing, dirty shoes, dirty faces, band-aides, stickers, tattoos, marker, pen marks on skin. These will require additional fees. 

All digital images and other digital material shall remain the exclusive copyrighted property of Sarah Kane Photography LLC.

Sarah Kane Photography has the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish images of all parties included in images for editorial, trade, advertising, and any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; to copyright the same. No party, other than Sarah Kane Photography LLC, may receive a profit for any images taken during the session. 

By paying the retainer and registering for a session client agrees to waive, disclaim and release Sarah Kane Photography LLC and its respective owners, members, employees, contractors, helpers, agents, volunteers and representatives from any and all actions, claims or demands that I may have now or in the future, whether known or unknown, against the Sarah Kane Photography LLC Parties, including without limitation those related to injury to, illness or death of persons, or damage, loss or destruction of property arising out of or in connection with the session or any products related thereto.
