Look at all of those precious rolls!! This newborn was 5 weeks old during the session. Yes, it's true that the best time to photograph a newborn is within the first 3 weeks of birth and I would not recommend waiting, however life happens. I would never turn someone away because the baby has past the "window". What I do is make sure parents have realistic expectations. I will do my very best as with any newborn session, but ultimately the baby is in control. This mama was turned down by several photographers because of his age. Little man was the perfect model. I can't even imagine if she gave up and never got these sweet images.
