I love when people aren't afraid to step outside of the box and taylor their wedding, not to fit in with the norm, but to truly reflect who they are as a couple. My own wedding was far from traditional consisting of a murder mystery weekend and Karaoke.  When I met with Rachael for the first time and I learned that their wedding was going to be at the Edgar Allen Poe Museum in Richmond I was very excited!

Whether you choose to stick with a Poe theme or not, the museum's courtyard is a gorgeous place for a wedding! I love that Rachael & Devin did go full on Poe though with their dark and romantic theme. The details were stunning and completed with perfection by the very talented Emmett Hickmam of Richmond Bridal Consulting Wedding & Design Firm. Everything could not have been more perfect! As beautiful as everything was, without a doubt my favorite part of the entire day, was Rachael & Devin's exchanging of vows:

"Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you"

Congratulations Rachael & Devin, I wish you much love and happiness for all of eternity!
