What a beautiful evening I got to spend with a very sweet family at the Carillon at Byrd Park in Richmond! This park is easily becoming one of my favorite locations to photograph. Apparently I'm not the only photographer who loves it because there were several others there capturing memories. I love meeting and connecting with other photographers and am glad I arrived a bit early and started and introduced myself to Ginny from Ginny O Photography who was also waiting for her clients to arrive. A couple of days later I saw on Instagram a behind the scenes shot Ginny took of me! How cool is that? Great things can happen when photographers connect and support each other instead of competing!
Now let's talk about this beautiful family! I had so much fun with these two sisters. Big sister was so sweet and absolutely loved being in front of my camera! When I was photographing her little sister she was the perfect assistant. She knew just how to get the baby giggles rolling! I'm so excited that my fall family sessions are in full swing. Autumn is my favorite time of year for so many reasons! Bring on the changing leaves and cozy sweaters, but Winter please take your time arriving!
