Can I just tell you how amazing it was to photograph this beautiful woman? Not only is she physically gorgeous, but her beauty also radiates from within. Dawn approached me about doing boudoir photography for her and her husband's anniversary and without hesitation I gladly accepted! It would be my third boudoir session as a professional photographer and I absolutely loved all three that I've done. There is something pretty amazing about a woman who is comfortable enough in her own skin that she is not afraid to be sensual in front of me or the camera. I find this to be very empowering. Although this was a gift that Dawn's husband would enjoy it was also a gift for Dawn. 

The last two boudoir sessions I photographed were done indoors. Dawn had the awesome idea of doing her boudoir session outside in an isolated area of a public park. It was at a park I had been to before, but had no idea this spot was even there. When we got there it was gorgeous and I knew these pictures were going to be A-mazing!  A natural beauty in the center of nature. What better combination is there? The leaves on the trees were a dazzling golden yellow and the water was so calm and peaceful. It really was a perfect place for a photo shoot boudoir or not. 

It was fall, so the air was pretty chilly, but Dawn held her composure and put her game face on despite the cold. This was the first time Dawn ever did something like this. Although you'd never know from her pictures, Dawn is not a professional model and if you are not used to posing in front of a camera it can feel quite awkward. You never know if what you are doing is going to translate well on camera.  Dawn put her complete trust and faith in me that I would take pictures that accentuated her beauty and sensuality done in a tasteful manner and I believe I did just that.  With three boudoir sessions now under my belt I hope to do many more in the near future. This is the perfect gift to give yourself or your significant other especially with Valentine's day right around the corner!
