Richmond VA Family Glen Allen Portrait Children's Photographer | Sarah Kane Photography

I have been photographing this family for the past 3 years and this session is bitter sweet for me because it is my absolute favorite, but it is also the last time I will be photographing them for awhile. The Fawbush family has relocated to FL to begin a new journey in life and although I am very happy for them, I will miss them all very much! Since first meeting Francesine, at a park near our house, not only did she become a client, but a very good friend. We have so much in common like music and photography, but we both know what it's like to have husbands that travel. A lot.  The first summer we met was my first year leaving a full-time teaching career to stay home with Grady and focus on building this photography business. Although I ecstatic for this life change it was a huge adjustment and came with a whole new set of challenges. I am so grateful that Francesine and her kids were there to help me through it. I think we spent almost every day together that our husbands were away. I grew to love her and her children very much! I don't even think I need to go into how amazing it has been to photograph her children because these pictures speak for themselves, but I do have to acknowledge that Francesine is one of the kindest, most thoughtful and giving people I have ever known and having her in my life has truly made me a better person.
